I. INTRODUCTION

The RA-1000 Residual Analyzer/Controller is an amperometric instrument

designed to continuously analyze residual levels of free or total chlorine, chlorine

dioxide, or potassium permanganate in water, wastewater or liquids containing

particulates.

Sample Supply: Continuous. Where sample interruption may be required;

provisions must be made to keep the electrodes wet with

fresh water.

Analyzer Location: As close as possible to the sample point to reduce lag

time.

Speed of Response: 4 Seconds from sample entry to display indication. Full

scale residual change 1-1/2 to 2 minutes.
